And there are great hotel deals where the single supplement is so low that it is practically free. At Ixtapan Spa Hotel and Golf Resort, the single supplement is only $100 for a 4 night, 5 day all inclusive spa trip: meals, classes, spa treatments included. And part of being a single there, is one is never alone, meeting friends in exercise classes and on walks is easy.

I’m trying to decide between Punta Cana and Costa Rica… I’m a young professional, but still have that backpacker at heart mentality stuck in me that I think more of an adventure travel option would be better. I’ve never gone for all inclusive in the past…. Also, what’s the deal for U.S. travelers to Cuba?! Can we go?
