Mid Ocean Golf Club, Bermuda

I have a great friend in Bermuda and this weekend was the 2nd time I had the privilege of playing golf at Mid Ocean Club, with him.

The 1st hole is a strong dogleg left with a pretty intimidating 2nd shot, but the fun really gets started with the 3rd hole. A cliff-hugging par three with an estate to the right and a lot of water to the left… the pin was tucked on the right side of the green with the wind blowing right-to-left towards to ocean. Fun.

To the right is a photo of the Par-3 17th hole which sets up 18, a Par 4 with the ocean to the right. I wouldn’t want that final hole to mean anything.

The course is simply amazing, set along the Atlantic, wind playing with every shot and my goodness, the views… golfing paradise.
