Where Old Celebrities Go To Be Enshrined

I recently found out that a museum honoring actor Andy Griffith recently opened in Mount Airy, North Carolina, which claims to provide a permanent place for the world’s largest collection of Andy Griffith memorabilia.

That started me thinking about other museums for once-hot celebrities, and here’s what I came up with:

*The Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Center in Jamestown, New York, is a treasure trove of memorabilia for fans of the hit 1950s TV show I Love Lucy.

*Singer Charlie Daniels has his very own museum in Nashville.

*Of course, there’s the Anne Murray Center in Springhill, Nova Scotia.

*TheĀ Jimmy Stewart Museum is set in the small town of Indiana, Pennsylvania, perfect for the star of It’s a Wonderful Life.

*The Liberace Foundation & Museum in Las Vegas has your year’s recommended daily allowance of sequins and fur.
