Travel like Tiger Woods

Well, that didn’t take long…

While a quick search of “Tiger Woods Travel” brought up a Smoking Gun story from 2007 detailing Mr. Woods’ specific travel requirements — i.e., what he does and doesn’t like to have on board (no women besides his wife were mentioned in the memo) — already a golf course in Wales is attempting to capitalize on the scandal.

At the Dewstow Golf Club in Monmouthshire, golfers can “Drive Like TIger” on the practice range by aiming their shots straight at an old Fiesta for a target.

“It has already proved to be a popular target,” said Steve Truman, Dewstow’s golf pro. “For some reason, people seem to enjoy demolition so we are giving them the chance to flatten the Fiesta. And with the layout of the range, you can also emulate Tiger by driving into a tree.”

The car will be moved to different areas on the range until it is destroyed.
Their motto? “Tiger Woods is not the only golfer who can wreck a car.”
